Case Study 1

Client
One of the world's top-tier business schools, with over 600 students.

Situation
DHE Consulting was employed by the school to conduct a study to determine the technical requirements of first year MBA classes with respect to Microsoft Office tools, in addition to other computer/software requirements as detailed by the teaching professor.

DHE Consulting Solution
It was determined that the study best be conducted in three phases. Phase 1 consisted of consulting with professors, Phase 2 analyzing the data, and Phase 3 providing recommendations. Based on the analyzed data, 15 recommendations were proposed. The recommendations addressed the goals of the school from a variety of different methods, keeping the perspective of associated costs.

Results
This study was the first step towards enhancing the technological capabilities of the school. Numerous recommendations were implemented, resulting in enhancements in course content.

Premier Muay Thai & kickboxing gym in Toronto.

Situation
As a rapidly expanding business, the client was having difficulty retaining customers, tracking their finances, and creating a model for sustainable growth. The client came to DHE Consulting to refine their organizational vision, develop a sustainable business strategy, and create tools to run the back office of the organization.

 

DHE Consulting Solution
DHE Consulting conducted an organizational assessment to determine the core competencies and capabilities of the business and how they can be reconciled with the vision of the business founder. Realignment was proposed towards a clear business strategy, leading to targeting marketing. Robust Microsoft Excel tools were created to allow the organization to leverage data, run the back office, and identify areas of opportunity.

Results
By leveraging the tools developed for their organization, the client has seen a significant increase in retaining of customers, growth in revenue and customer base, in addition to the ability to track cash flow and revenue daily.


Case Study 3

Client
Full service customer management company.


Situation
The client was seeking a training solution for Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. The goal was to answer specific organizational challenges, while building employee capabilities, thus making them more proficient with their daily usage of these tools.

DHE Consulting Solution
DHE Consulting created a custom one-day basic to intermediate training curriculum, in addition to addressing specific client usage. Training was provided to approximately thirty participants, supplemented with takeaway training material.

Results
Participants left the sessions more proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, thus able create advanced spreadsheets and presentations more efficiently.
